As a Law Enforcement Officer: Armed Airport Thursday/Sunday in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. • Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and government personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of airport terminals roadways parking areas perimeter locations and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as assigned and report suspicious activity hazards or policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with airport operations law enforcement and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements training and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement military police or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a Peace Officer Certificate.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
