As a Security Officer Full Time Airport Warehouse in Baltimore MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items support access procedures and provide outstanding customer service. You will remain attentive communicate clearly and contribute to a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures screening protocols and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering designated areas using established procedures and security-related equipment escalating concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Verify identification credentials visitor authorizations and delivery documentation before permitting access to controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate screening visitor and incident documentation while supporting a professional orderly entry process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
